WOMANOPHOBIA Part 3
It is a coined word that describes the following:
The irrational fear of letting a woman have a position of leadership, especially in the Church.
It is comprised of two words:
1. WOMAN i.e. a human of Female Gender created in the Image and likeness of Elohim, the Creator! So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. Genesis 1:27
2. PHOBIA is an intense, irrational, unrealistic fear, which can interfere with the ability to socialize, work, or go about everyday life that is brought on by an object, event or situation and is regarded as a mental disorder.
For example if someone is bit by a dog, may develop a fear against all dogs. Such person would never come close to a canine, purchase one or enjoy its wonderful company- he has developed an irrational fear that will prevent him from enjoying one.
A Phobia comes accompanied by a spirit of fear. The Scriptures tell us that God has not given us a spirit of fear.
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7
We believe that when people have strong reactions of rejection against women in ministry it is irrational, unrealistic and it paralyzes the Body of Y’shua so it cannot function properly. By the end of these series of teachings, you will know why it is imperative that we get rid of Womanophobia once and for all as it is OBSTRUCTING revival and the Move of the Spirit. On the first part of this Urgent Message Rabbi Baruch Bierman shared his testimony as an ex-persecutor of women in leadership. In each one of the chapters following he will take you through the Scriptures from the original Greek language and your eyes will be opened to the Truth. That BOTH male and female are created in the Image of Elohim, the Creator and BOTH are called to be fruitful, to multiply and to RULE in this earth. Both men and women are called to be priests and kings unto our God! The Almighty used Deborah as the Prophet and the Judge of all of Israel, she taught men the Torah in the Old Covenant times...The New Covenant is established on better promises and that includes in what concerns WOMEN!
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Messiah Y’shua. Galatians 3:28
We all have the same Holy Spirit and she is no respecter of persons!
Spirit/Ruach in Hebrew is of feminine gender as in Genesis 1:2
Ruach Elohim Merachefet al pnei hamayim.
The Spirit of the Creator was floating/fluttering/dancing as a female over the waters (Merachefet is female! Male would be Merachef!)

In the next few chapters of “Womanophobia” I will expound on 3 of the most commonly used Scriptures to oppose women in Ministry Leadership positions!

In this chapter we will study the context and spirit of Ephesians 5:22
Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord
A few years ago my wife and I were invited to a special meeting on the Mount of Olives with some pastors from Poland. We were a group of Israeli Pastors and Polish pastors and we worshipped and prayed together. This was really historical since most of the Jews exterminated under the Nazi regime were murdered in the death camps of Poland such as Auschwits-Birkenau, Teblinka, Sobibor, Majdanek and more. The fellowship was very sweet and we could feel the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Then and there the leaders of the meeting decided to take Communion together.
As we were about to partake of the wine and the bread, my wife, Bishop Dominiquae that was in deep prayer heard the Holy Spirit speak to her. He said: “Dominiquae, do you know what you are doing?” as she said “Yes, Lord we are taking Communion!” the Lord spoke to her : “Communion is a COVENANT meal” Dominiquae was stricken and stopped the Communion Service and said. “Do you dear brethren know what we are doing?” Of course everyone was astonished at the question and especially at a woman “bothering” the service! She proceeded under the anointing of the Holy Spirit to say: This is a Covenant Meal, which means that IF we take it, then our (Israeli pastors) pulpit is now open to you, (Polish Pastors) and the question
is, would your pulpit also be opened for us as Jews?
The Polish Pastors were like “bit by a snake!” and they drew back even with their body language and very flustered proceeded to say: “We are not ready for this yet” In that case my wife said “I am not ready to take Communion with you”. Needless to say this caused a stir among the Israeli pastors and among all the upset voices of my brethren there was the single voice of a true brother, a prophet agreeing with my wife. In order to smooth out the atmosphere the leaders proceeded with the communion service as if nothing had happened besides a “bothersome woman” speaking and disturbing the service. They did not relate to her as the Prophet that she is because she is a woman!
Right after the service a well known Israeli pastor came to my wife and said: “Woman, SUBMIT TO YOUR HUSBAND!” But I was standing right beside her and this brother never bothered to address me but just took the liberty of rebuking my wife without my consent and assuming that because she had leadership & Prophetic Authority she actually was usurping my place as a leader! Needles to say I was very amused and proceeded to answer “She is under submission, now what is your problem?”
I would like to give a “death blow” to the erroneous understanding of the Scripture in Ephesians 5:22 right now! Most people have missed the point of this scripture altogether and have created some of the most harmful and abusive doctrines concerning the right relationship between husband and wife. In fact I believe that many marriages are suffering right now because of these erroneous interpretations!
My wife and I ministered in the Far East many years ago and after she preached, she was asked by the pastors to especially council the women in the congregation. A long line was formed of desperate women needing wisdom for very hard marital situations. A few of them were married to either unbelieving husbands or believers that were practicing immorality. One of them was married with a fornicator that had contracted venereal diseases and now she was pregnant by him and suffering from the same. She was advised by her own pastor that though her husband was a known adulterer that she needed to submit to him nevertheless in order to rescue her marriage. Another woman was desperate because her husband was a sexual pervert and demanded that she take an “ecstasy drug” for arousal purposes and watch pornographic films with him prior to intercourse. She was disgusted and nevertheless submitted to this sexual abuse because her leaders had told her that she needed to submit to her husband in order to preserve her marriage. How surprised and relieved they were when my wife told them that there is no provision in the Scriptures for women to submit to any kind of abuse and immorality in “the name of God”, that they were loved by the Almighty and their bodies are the Temple of the Holy Spirit and that no husband has the authority from God to abuse or to force their wives in any way! Wives are not called to submit at all costs!
Husbands, love your wives, just as Messiah also loved the church and gave Himself up for her. So husbands ought also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. Ephesians 5:25, 27
This love has nothing to do with “imposing authority”, dictatorship or any kind of abuse to keep women in “their place”! Rather it is a constant self sacrifice in order to help the wife to bloom, to be in total wellbeing, just like Messiah died for us to save and heal us. He gave Himself up so that we can be FREE to become all that He has created us to be! In the same way, we, husbands are called to give ourselves up so our wives can be FREE to be all that YHVH has called them to be! This is a far cry from putting them under our thumb in order to fulfil all our capricious whims.
“Wives submit to your husband’s as to the Lord” Ephesians 5:22
It may surprise you to know that the word SUBMIT is not in the original Greek manuscript. In the English King James Translation the word submit was italicized to show that it was added later on by the translators. In Greek it only says this:
“Wives to your husbands as to the Lord”
In other words in the context, this scripture cannot stand alone but it is a continuation of the instructions in the previous scriptures from verses 15-21.
Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise people but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil. So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord; always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah to God, even the Father; and be subject to one another in the fear of Messiah.
Then comes the Scripture,
“Wives to your husbands as to the Lord”
So before wives are to submit to their husbands they, husband and wife must submit to the Lord separately and then to each other as brother and sister in the Lord. In that context with that mutual honor and agreement, comes the scripture “wives to your husbands as to the Lord”. All that is in order to walk in WISDOM and in LOVE. It does not suggest dictatorship or any kind of tyranny but rather a relationship of common accord under Y’shua’s guidance. The husband in this relationship of mutual submission carries more responsibility before God by being the head of the wife. Not for the purpose of controlling but for the purpose of facilitating for his wife to walk as this chapter mentioned earlier; in love, in the light and in wisdom.
For the husband is the head of the wife, as Messiah also is the head of the church, He Himself being the Savior of the body. Ephesians 5:23
When this Israeli pastor brother rebuked my wife instead of honoring her as the Prophet that she is it is because of his misconception that wives should never speak in public and certainly not exercise any authority when men are present. What this brother did not take into consideration is that my role as Bishop Dominiquae’s head is to facilitate her obedience to the Holy Spirit and to His calling upon her life as an Apostle-Prophet to the nations. Thus when she moves in her calling she is always under submission to the Lord and to me! My utmost desire is to see my wife bloom as a Minister! Just as Yeshua is sitting in Heaven interceding for His Bride to come f
orth so do I intercede for mine! It is the highest Calling for any man as it is Yeshua’s example to us! He is “behind the scenes” while She (His Bride- His Body) is exercising His authority on the earth! I believe that every husband should be concerned about their wives coming forth in their callings whatever it may be! Of course not all the women are called to the Five Fold Ministry just like not all the men are either! Nevertheless the picture is clear, Messiah addresses His Church as a Bride a female and has no quandaries at giving her all His authority!
And Yeshua came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations... Matthew 28:18,19
