ONE CHRISTIAN MARTYR IN CONGO

As we enter into the New Greek Gregorian Calendar Year of 2008, let us pray for the Church worldwide to be cleansed from all traces of Anti Semitism and Replacement Theology. Many people think that this is not to be found in the modern day Charismatic-Evangelical and Pentecostal churches. I wish this would be true. The whole Church needs cleansing to one degree or another! See below the article in memorial of a MAP Revolution Martyr that suffered at the hands of his own Charismatic, Evangelical denomination. Our challenge in the 21st Century Church is to be humble enough and to REPENT from any such occurrences! I have been a "voice crying in the wilderness" for many years and my prayer is that this letter will reach the Church worldwide with the help of all our partners, friends and readers.

He was a small man in his mid sixties with thick glasses, reminiscent of his many hours of study- Lucien Itoua, the President of the Assemblies of God of Congo and a pioneer of the revival movement in Congo. He looked like a man that had survived many battles and won…Until he succumbed to this last one that would gain him an eternal Martyr’s Crown!

Pastor Itoua landed in Israel in April of 2006 to spend time with all of us during Passover. This was the first MAP Revolution Tour that we had ever cancelled! We could not however close our doors before this General of YHVH. He had tried incessantly and tenaciously to get a visa to Israel from Congo for two solid years and had been rejected. He had flown at his own expense from Brazzaville to Addis Ababa to the Israeli Consulate there never giving up His hope to come to one of our tours! Finally we received a very joyful email from him: his visa had been approved and Pastor Itoua was on his way to Israel. Except it seemed too late! We had cancelled that particular tour for lack of participants. This was to be the first time in all my years of bringing tours to Israel that I had cancelled one! We decided to receive the Servant of God in our own home and to give him a private tour and a private treatment. He was like a sponge writing everything I said down, studying the Scriptures; asking pertinent questions!

His first time at the Kotel (Western Wall) was very touching as he put the kippa on and went to pray towards the ancient site of the Holy Temple placing his prayers among the creases of the ancient stones. His spiritual thirst for the Jewish Roots of the Christian Faith was great and his spirit so humble and open to truth, he managed to stir my spirit to tell him more. He was so moved when he went through The Holocaust Memorial and learnt of what Christian Nations such as Germany and Poland had done to the Jews and how Replacement Theology was a murderous theology that had already claimed many Jewish Martyrs…It was to claim One More: This time an African Christian Martyr. Apostle Itoua gave up his spirit on the 27th of December of 2006 after going through an Inquisition by the Assemblies of God council in Brazzaville upon his return from Israel. The following recounts are quotations from a letter written by his widow to us upon my request to receive information of all the events leading to Apostle Itoua’s sudden death.

Apostle Lucien ITOUA returned from Israel in May 2006 after receiving a very cordial reception worthy of his rank as a pioneer of the revival movement in Congo in general and President of a great Christian Community :  Assemblies of God of Congo, ADC

After his arrival, the apostle had started by explaining to the members of the community present all things pertinent to his stay in Israel. He described the way in which he was accommodated by the Ministry of KAD-ESH-MAP in general and by Bishop Dominiquae Bierman, her husband and her French interpreter, Mr. Daniel Flueckiger. After the explanations given by the apostle,  he began to provide the documentation brought from Israel to the Pastors, Elders and Deacons of the Community, after that he distributed the Prayer Shawl  to the moms (pastor’s and elder’s wives) and other presents

After that the apostle had begun a series of Biblical teaching with the topic of : TORAH (5 books of Moses), as a background to this lesson, the apostle started by explaining the suffering of which the Jewish people were the target (The Holocaust, the Nazis…)

In his lesson, he had insisted on the respect of the LAW (ten commands) such as Moses had prescribed to the Jewish people, always in the lesson (with the Pastors) the apostle had explained the document of the 21 lies of the council of Nicea and how emperor Constantine had changed the worship of the Sabbath to become the Sunday. After the lesson the apostle showed the video of his stay he had brought back from Israel, and also showed the pictures taken  at the tomb of YASHUA, of KING DAVID (with the KIPA on his head), the Wailing Wall, and his baptism in the Jordan. Many of the badly disposed Pastors judged that of change of doctrine and idolatry. Influenced by these same Pastors, the moms who had received the Shawls of prayer to pay after, came to give these Shawls back  to the apostle saying that that was magic objects, because of the mention : Had TALITINIA (*the label with the name of the company that produces them)  that they confused with  TALISMANE.

 Therefore since this moment there was an uprising within the community, even once you had received a letter coming from Brazzaville to ask you for explanations on Council of Nicea and with which you had raised the question if they knew Apostle Lucien ITOUA ? All that was to spy you and know who you were, even the contact with the Assemblies of God in the world (in the USA for example). A certain Pastor a member of the National Executive committee  turned against the apostle while suspending him and excommunicating him of the community of which itself was the founder in Congo here, and they brought him from one police station to another in order to judge him for his change of  doctrine, and the police seeing the seriousness of the situation  transferred him to the Higher Court. The pressure was very strong; especially considering the behavior as of the his/her children in the faith who also turned against him. Apostle Lucien ITOUA succumbed  to  a(heart attack) crisis due to tension on  December 27 2006 around 6am, and the Pastor in charge of the persecution sang the victory that he had made this giant of a man fall.

The following is  taken from the Scrolls of Fire 52 Chapters of Jewish Martyrdom

In every church love reigns-where does hatred come from? The rubble caught Gitele from Aschaffenburg first. And when she refused to be baptized in the cursed waters, they took her to the river and drowned her. Then they caught Mina from Speyer. As she was leaving town, and demanded that she deny the Living God. When she refused, they chopped off her ears and toes. And there was a woman named Zipporah who late in life gave birth to a son named Isaac. When (Christian) enemies surrounded her house, and she saw a knife in her husband’s hand, she cried out: My lord do not raise your hand against the boy, slaughter me first, let me not look upon the death of the child. Then the lawless mob struck them with axes, and Zipporah died screaming. Can you restrain in the face of such things o God? Persecutions in Germany 1180.
