Cry of Revival # 49 For as he thinks within himself, so he is. Proverbs 23:7a Shabbat shalom dearly beloved: The way that things turn in life depends on how we see ourselves. Our inner self image can dictate the course of events in the life of most people. That was the case with 10 of the spies that were sent to spy the Land of Promise. Though they recognized that the Land was great and flowing with milk and honey, they saw themselves too weak and too small to go ahead and conquer it! Thus they told him, and said, "We went in to the land where you sent us; and it certainly does flow with milk and honey, and this is its fruit. "Nevertheless, the people who live in the land are strong, and the cities are fortified and very large; and moreover, we saw the descendants of Anak there. Numbers 14:27,28 In other words, they implied that the people in the Land were strong and that they were weak and unable to contend with them! There also we saw the Nephilim (the sons of Anak are part of the Nephilim); and we became like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight." Numbers 13:33 What is the cause of such a terrible self image? Nothing but a type of IDOLATRY, in other words they had another image inside of themselves and not the Image of the Almighty! Someone else was implanted in their inner thinking and not Yah (God), His Word, His Promises, His Character and His IMAGE! God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Genesis 1:27 The first thing that we know of Adam is that He and She are created in the image and likeness of the Elohim that created Heaven and Earth! His first commandment to them was “to be fruitful, to multiply and to subdue and RULE!” God blessed them; and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth." Genesis 1:28 Rulers cannot be cowards and certainly cannot have the self image of “grasshoppers”! Just like Elohim is the RULER of the Universe, He designed MANKIND (men and women!) to RULE over the earth! However the ruling needed to come under His authority and in complete communion with Him! Adam gave his position and authority to satan when they listened to the snake rather than to Elohim’s Commandment. Now, satan through Mankind would be ruling upon the earth which explains the most popular question: “Why is there so much evil upon the earth and why doesn’t God stop it?” What kind of a God is He if He “allows” evil to happen?” Elohim gave the RULING to Man and Woman, they gave it to satan and Y’shua came to snatch it back and return it to US. But we must use His authority to RULE in His wisdom and under His Command. Having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him. Colossians 2:14,15 If we do not change our self image from the one the devil gave us (grasshoppers) to the one that YHVH created in us (Rulers or “Giants”), evil will continue to happen unchecked! When Y’shua came He restored the lost authority and said: Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you. Luke 10:19 Back to the 12 spies: YHVH had determined that Israel will inherit the beautiful Land of Canaan flowing with milk and honey. For that purpose He would empower His People to wage a good warfare under His Command and they would be able to conquer it easily and swiftly! He had given them the Promise and the Authority to take it over. In fact Caleb (one of the only two with the right self image!) said something that was totally revealing! Only do not rebel against YHVH; and do not fear the people of the land, for they will be our prey. Their protection has been removed from them, and the LORD is with us; do not fear them." Numbers 14:9 The protection of the inhabitants of the Promised Land had been removed from them! They had no covering! Beloved, once Y’shua hang on that TREE/CROSS in Jerusalem, the devil was left defenseless and the authority that he got from Adam in the Garden of Eden was snatched away from him and returned to US through the Blood sacrifice of Y’shua! It is imperative in these End of Times when the world is darker and a torrent of iniquity is flooding this generation that we KNOW whose image do we carry? The one satan and the world has given us or the one bestowed upon us by our loving Abba and restored to us by our beloved Messiah Y’shua, as RULERS and Co-Rulers with Him! The first thing that we need to rule over is our own thoughts! Our thoughts and the way that we see ourselves and God will determine how we are! For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Messiah. 2 Corinthians 10:4,5 FROM US TO MODERN DAY ISRAEL In 1948 Israel was declared a State! In a miraculous act of God, 2000 years of extremely painful exile ended and we entered into the dispensation of the RESTORATION OF ISRAEL. YHVH gave us back the same Land that the 12 Israelite spies went to spy and just like then, there are GIANTS in the Land. The modern day “giants” are descendants of the Philistines and the Amalekites and they cry out “jihad” and “death to the Jews”. They refuse to recognize Israel as the Jewish Homeland and YET we must understand that their protection has been removed from them as YHVH is totally committed to the restoration of His ancient people Israel! “I will not let you hear insults from the nations anymore, nor will you bear disgrace from the peoples any longer, nor will you cause your nation to stumble any longer," declares the Lord GOD.'" Ezekiel 36:15 As long as Israel sees itself as a “grasshopper” in front of her enemies she will never succeed. But once it sees itself as a Covenant Giant and trusts in the Might of Adonai, nothing and no one will be able to stop her. "In that day the LORD will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the one who is feeble among them in that day will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the angel of YHVH before them. Zechariah 12:8 Beloved when you pray for Israel, pray that she stops seeing herself as a grasshopper in from of the giants: USA, European Union, United Nations and Islam. Pray that she will see herself like Joshua and Caleb, more Giants than giants! Pray that PM Benjamin Netanyahu keeps on displaying a Joshua and Caleb spirit! Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses and said, "We should by all means go up and take possession of it, for we will surely overcome it." Numbers 13:30 We also pray that the Iranian people display a courageous spirit as they seek to rid themselves of the ungodly, oppressive, demonic regime of Ahmadinajad, the modern day “Hitler” and the Ayatolas!
