REVIVAL CRY #38 Now it came about in the course of those many days that the king of Egypt died. And the sons of Israel sighed because of the bondage, and they cried out; and their cry for help because of their bondage rose up to God. Exodus 2:23 Shabbat shalom dearly beloved: Many times I have asked myself, why did it take YHVH 430 years until He delivered the People of Israel from Egypt? Why did He let them suffer for so long? And I believe that the answer is that they were not desperate enough to be delivered! This applies to everything in our life. Whatever our bondage is only when we are desperate enough and we are aware of our own sickness and need then we can be delivered. On hearing this, Yeshua said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice’. For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners." Matthew 9:12,13 Y’shua was able to touch, heal and delivered ALL who came to Him, but the Religious Folk that were around Him all the time for the most part were untouched by Him. They were too full of their own “self righteousness” to recognize their sickness (Religion!) and their need (Salvation!) The worst sin of man is being religious. Religiosity leads to a spirit of legalism, judgment, and bitterness. Y’shua was very gentle with the sinners but very harsh with the religious! You brood of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak what is good? For the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart. Matthew 12:34 You blind guides, who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel! Matthew 23:24 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the dish, but inside they are full of robbery and self-indulgence. Matthew 23:25 Religion is a terminal disease with no hope left. It is a matter of life and death for us to know what are the symptoms of the “Religion Disease” so you can treat them before they take your life and the life of others! 1. Hypocrisy- Pretending to be “good” but having a heart full of anger, bitterness, criticism, judgment and pride. This leads to self deception and denial. (Matthew 7:5, Matthew 23: 25-35)) 2. Self Righteousness- This is the most dangerous symptom. A person thinks that he is “right” and is willing to do ANYTHING to prove it. All crusades and the Spanish Inquisition were directed by this spirit that executed “justice” against the Jews. This can be a murderous spirit. (Luke 18:9-14) 3. Rigidity- Seeing everything as “black or white” with absolutely no hope for mercy or process. This spirit is not able to develop any relationship with God or with people. It is totally legalistic and it always puts people under judgment. (John 8:1-11) 4. Ruthless- A person that is sure of being “right” will always be ruthless and merciless with others that are “wrong”. This spirit will justify any means to achieve its end which is to prove “its rightness” in the name of God and His Kingdom. It will violate boundaries, become abusive and will overrule other people’s self will. Hitler’s regime displayed this spirit very clearly and Hitler based The Final Solution on Martin Luther’s Book “On the Jews and their lies” where he called to “exact a sharp mercy” (in the name of God!) towards the Jews. He was offended by them and became very bitter against them. (See Free download of The MAP Revolution at www.maprevolution.org) Most people will not have the extreme conditions but any signs of these symptoms should be taken very seriously, if untreated they can turn into a full blown “Religion Disease”. The best treatment for the early symptoms is simply this: An ample dosage of humility together with forgiveness; Take every time that the symptoms reoccur. HUMILITY But He gives a greater grace Therefore it says, "GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE." Submit therefore to God Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Be miserable and mourn and weep; let your laughter be turned into mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you. James 4:6-10 FORGIVENESS In his very well known book "The Bait of satan" John Bevere says: *Medical doctors and scientists have linked unforgiveness and bitterness with certain diseases such as arthritis and cancer. Many cases of mental sickness are tied to bitter unforgiveness.* A person who cannot forgive has forgotten the great debt for which they were forgiven. When you realize that Jesus (Y'shua) delivered you from eternal death and torment, you will release others unconditionally. (End of quote) True forgiveness does not demand “justice”! As long as you are demanding "justice" or think that you need to "execute justice yourself" you have not forgiven. That is a very dangerous situation. This is the serious warning that Yeshua gives us about unforgiveness (which includes lack of releasing, demanding "justice" and the like). In the Greek culture to forgive means to “pardon” someone without releasing them or forgetting. In the Hebrew culture forgiveness is an inner force that brings total healing and includes total release of debt. As long as we are holding unto a little bit of grudge or of demands for justice, it is not true forgiveness and it will poison the whole individual. The Religion Disease is fueled by unforgiveness, victim mentality and self righteousness. For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. "But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions. Matthew 6:14,15 Unforgiveness can cost you your salvation. When the Father does not forgive you, then you have to pay for your sins. What opens the door for the disease? I have found these three factors working together: Spiritual Pride Bitterness Jealousy These are the same factors that induced the snake to tempt the woman to eat of the Tree of Religion, the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. "You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman. "For Elohim (God) knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like Elohim, knowing good and evil." Genesis 3:4-5 Satan through the snake worked on the woman to get some more knowledge (spiritual pride) and convinced her that Elohim did not love her enough to give it to her (bitterness). He told her that Elohim did not want them to be like Him (jealousy). These three factors are in the character of satan who lifted himself up to be like Elohim because of pride, bitterness and jealousy. Satan is also jealous of all mankind because we got what he COVETED. We were created in the Image and Likeness of the Creator but he was created lower than that as an angel! (Psalms 8:4-6 , Isaiah 14:13-16) Jealousy is a tremendously wicked force that has caused more crimes than anything, starting from Cain who was jealous of Abel! Wrath is fierce and anger is a flood, but who can stand before jealousy? Proverbs 27:4 Cain had the Religion Disease as he gave a “sacrifice” to Elohim but not with his whole heart. He had spiritual pride so when Elohim did not accept his half hearted sacrifice, he got angry and the true issue came out: He was jealous of his brother Abel! Abel was an honest, humble worshipper and was not trying to show off. Cain was full of pride, bitterness and jealousy and ended killing Abel. The Religion Disease is very dangerous! But for Cain and for his offering He had no regard So Cain became very angry and his countenance fell. Cain told Abel his brother. And it came about when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him. Genesis 4:5,8 Throughout Church History we can see the Religion Disease raising brother to kill brother. After the Council of Nicea when the spirit of religion possessed the Church, the Christians started killing the Jews. Later on after the reformation also Christians killed Christians and all in the name of God! The whole history of the reformers is riveted with blood and cruel battles between brothers. They were all trying to prove that they were “right” and by doing so they hurt the Father who is the only One that is RIGHT and RIGHTEOUS and crucified the Son afresh by hating and killing each other! Every Move of God has been polluted by the Disease of Religion. Things that start in the Spirit end in the flesh because of spiritual pride, bitterness and jealousy! As Yah has entrusted us with the End Time Message of RESTORATION of the Ecclesia to the original Hebrew Foundations of Faith I prayed that this time the Religion Disease will not take over! NO MORE KILLING IN THE NAME OF GOD, TRUTH OR JUSTICE. It is high time that we follow the way of the Lamb even if He is also a Lion roaring from Zion! He taught us to FORGIVE and to never retaliate, to love our enemies, to bless those who curse you, to love those who hate us….He cried from the Cross for all mankind to hear: “Father forgive them, they do not know what they do” Luke 23:34 If we follow His example of unconditional LOVE and MERCY we will be immune to the Religion Disease and finally LOVE will prevail and the world will KNOW that The Father sent Yeshua. (John 17:21). Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, just as you are in fact unleavened. For Messiah our Passover also has been sacrificed. Therefore let us celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. 1 Corinthians 5:7,8 A blessed, free and anointed Passover for all!
