CROSSING OVER TO THE RED SEA

“And the exiles of this host of the sons of Israel, who are among the Canaanites as far as Zarephath, and the exiles of Jerusalem who are in Sepharad will possess the cities of the Negev.” Obadiah 20

For many years we have spoken about the important restoration of the Sephardic (Spanish) Jews to their roots, to the Land and to the Negev the South Desert of Israel that comprises over 55% of the modern day State of Israel. The Negev is almost unpopulated and Moslem Bedouin tribes are spreading with no boundaries .Official statistics say that if we do not populate the Negev with Jews it will be mostly Moslem in less than 12 years from now and we will lose the Negev to Islam! We are all concerned about Annapolis and the Road Map that is being implemented within a year from now and rightly so! However there is another front where we have been losing a battle unbeknown to most! 55% of the land of Israel is about to become Moslem! The only solution is the fulfillment of the prophecy in Obadiah 20. The Jews that were in Sepharad (Spain) MUST possess the cities of the Negev!

Those that remained Jewish while escaping from Spain during the Spanish Inquisition in 1492. They lost everything, were terribly persecuted and were in terrible danger for a long time. My family (Bishop Dominiquae) belongs to that category.
Those that converted to Christianity (Catholicism) to save their skin and their possessions for fear of the expulsion and the fires of the Inquisition. They remained in Spain, Portugal or joined Christopher Columbus and the Spanish Conquistadores in settling what was later called Latin America. Many of them lived in constant fear, kept Jewish rites under cover and passed on the secret from generation to generation. Many of them lost their Jewish identity completely. These type of “lost Jews” have been called Marranos or Conversos. Marranos means pigs in Spanish because they were forced to eat pork in order to prove that they were truly Christian. It has been calculated that there are around 60 Million Conversos and they are to be found mainly in Latin America and places like the Philippines that were conquered by Spain.

In my book the Healing Power of the Roots I described my prophetic Journey in 1995 to Toledo, Spain where the Spanish Inquisition begun. I was led by the Spirit to what used to be the Major Synagogue of Toledo prior to 1492 where I did an intercession of repentance for all the Sephardic Jews and where a Prophetic mourning for an entire nation fell on me. Then I was led to call all the Sephardic Jews BACK!

I have seen very moving manifestation of this Prophetic Restoration as we go to Latin America. When I begin to talk about it; and I call forth the names that have been found to be of Jewish origin such as LOPEZ and GONZALEZ and most all the names that end with ES or EZ. In many cases people in the audience have begun to sob uncontrollably and when we pray for them and cover them with the TALIT (Prayer Mantle) deep repentance, mourning and healing takes place. I have also seen some of these Conversos being led by the Lord to convert to Judaism and they return to the Land of Israel and settle in the Negev. For the most part those that I know in this category have not denied Messiah but have actually returned to their Jewish identity and are being made whole. They are also fulfilling the Prophecy of Obadiah 20: They are possessing the very strategic Negev! There are others that are not born again believers, but where Catholic and are converting to Judaism and are making Alyah to the Land of Israel and settling the Negev among them many Peruvians. An amazing Prophetic Fulfillment is happening in front of our very eyes! A true sign that Y’shua’s return is drawing very close!

There is a clear Biblical connection between these Sephardic Jews and a move of deliverance to Israel!

“And the exiles of Jerusalem who are in Sepharad will possess the cities of the Negev. The deliverers will ascend Mount Zion to judge the mountain of Esau (Edom), and the kingdom will be the Lord’s.” Obadiah 20b and 21

The Mountains of Edom (Esau) are across the Southern most city of the Negev that is the City of Eilat which is mentioned in the Bible as the city of Eloth besides Eziongeber at the shores of the Red Sea in the Land of Edom.

“King Solomon also built a fleet of ships in Ezion-geber, which is near Eloth on the shore of the Red Sea, in the land of Edom.” 1 Kings 9:26

Eilat in the Red Sea is the most beautiful Holiday resort in the world! Some people compare it to Cancun in Mexico and others to Tenerife of Spain, but truly Eilat is incomparable! Called the City of the Kings, Eilat was the Royal Port of King Solomon from which he traded with Africa! Most of the gold, spices, exotic animals and riches of King Solomon entered into Israel and where later on brought up to Jerusalem through the port of Eilat!

“And Hiram sent his servants with the fleet, sailors who knew the sea, along with the servants of Solomon. “They went to Ophir and took four hundred and twenty talents of gold from there, and brought it to King Solomon.” 1 Kings 9:27, 28

We know that King Solomon went there prior to the visit of the Queen of Sheba. He probably greeted the Queen of Sheba right there at the port of entry, His Royal Port City! Besides Jerusalem, Eilat or Eloth was the most important city of King’s Solomon’s Kingdom! Most of the wealth of His Kingdom entered through Eloth!

“Then Solomon went to Ezion-geber and to Eloth on the seashore in the land of Edom.” 2 Chronicles 8:17

“Now when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to Jerusalem to test Solomon with difficult questions. She had a very large retinue, with camels carrying spices and a large amount of gold and precious stones; and when she came to Solomon, she spoke with him about all that was on her heart.” 2 Chronicles 9:1

Today this beautiful city is surrounded by the Negev desert and decorated with the colorful mountains of the Judean desert on one side, the mountains of Edom on the other side and of course the delightful Red Sea! Eilat is the South Gate of all of Israel and the Southern -most city of the Negev! Its strategic land and water borders are with Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. We believe that Eilat is a center of revival! All of Israel goes to Eilat for holidays! Israel is so small that we do not have many choices and the most popular and always successful choice is Eilat! It is so separate from all other cities of Israel, at the end of the desert that we used to call Eilat “The end of the world”! During pioneer stages it was very hard to get provision to Eilat and the roads were terrible! Nowadays many Russian and French Olim Chadashim (Jewish new immigrants) have settled in Eilat! We have been privileged to do some powerful evangelistic campaigns in its beach promenade and to host the first Prophetic Praise conference in the city in 1995. All of our tours go to Eilat and during our last tour during Feast of Trumpets this year 2007; as we sailed on a cruise boat (part of the tour!) we blessed the borders of the city and we blew around 40 shofars declaring REVIVAL ON EILAT! In 1995 as we were arriving to the city with our Prophetic tour group a beloved sister in the Lord and a powerful prophet prophesied over me:

The Lord says: I give you the KEYS to Eilat. I appoint you the Mayor of the city!

Prior to my salvation, Eilat was “sin city” to me; I never wanted to see it again as long as I lived! But 7 years later in 1995 Yah called me to Eilat! I have been waiting for this prophetic fulfillment for 12 years since the prophetic word came forth in 1995!

Last month “out of the blue” we were looking for a bigger house on the Mountains of Jerusalem to house all of our growing team. I could find nothing and began to become very frustrated! Finally I took some time alone to hear His Voice clearly. The Spirit of Adonai had been speaking about EXPANSION! I thought that meant a bigger place but after looking for one and finding NOTHING I needed to hear what He meant!

His words rang clear in my spirit: YOU ARE GOING TO EILAT! Jacques and Adriana and the girls will be in France for a year and Gabriela will stay in Jerusalem!

My dear friends in one second Yahveh changed all of our minds and plans! We believe in INSTANT OBEDIENCE as delayed obedience is the same as disobedience so at present the Broquet Family is in Paris learning to walk by faith and seeing the miracles of provision of our Abba! They are also at present establishing Hatikvadanz in France! Gabriela is studying Hebrew and looking for a place in the Center of Jerusalem where she will start a MAP Lighthouse and a small office for Kad-Esh MAP Ministries. She is also training and dancing with a major Israeli dance company! Karen, Rabbi and I are moving to Eilat and Daniel is coming and going from Switzerland where he has his business!

The house we have rented for the last 2 1/2 years in the Mountains of Jerusalem is almost completely packed, our furniture almost completely sold and our land lord has graciously released us before the end of the lease. Right after Hanukkah we are moving to Eilat! We do not have a place yet but we have the Faith of Abraham and just like he did we are obeying the LECH LECHA (Get out now!) Commandment!

“Now the LORD said to Abram, "Go forth from your country, and from your relatives and from your father's house, to the land which I will show you;”Genesis 12:1

“And I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great; And so you shall be a blessing; and I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse and in you all the families of the earth will be blessed." Genesis 12:2,3

As a Sephardic Jew I am being sent to possess the cities of the Negev and to help settle the South of Israel. I believe that revival and harvest will follow.

“Then the eyes of the blind will be opened and the ears of the deaf will be unstopped. Then the lame will leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute will shout for joy for waters will break forth in the wilderness and streams in the Arabah.” Isaiah 35:5, 6

We praise Yah and we intend to enjoy this sudden move thoroughly! We ask you to pray for us and to support us as we move by faith. Your prayers and your financial offerings to help us move with no financial burden will begin to water the desert of Israel and will bring forth much fruit! This is a year of Shabbat rest for us and those that know me laugh when they say: When Bishop does NOTHING (is at rest) is when EVERYTHING (revival and miracles!) happens! Pease help us do “NOTHING” through your prayers and your finances to help us move to Eilat with no burdens; and enjoy the fruits of it with us for eternity!
