Love never fails #9
ONE LAST CHANCE TO LOVE THE NATIONS
Shabbat shalom dearly beloved:
As we are entering into the last phases of preparation for the return of the King to Jerusalem, I hear the Holy Spirit saying:
“I am extending ONE LAST CHANCE for repentance for those nations that have caused distress to my Jewish People”
We have been sent into the nations as New Covenant Jews to become a contact point for repentance and restitution, so that the Ecclesia (church) being the Priest of the nations can represent their nations in this identificational repentance. For the most part the major thrust of our ministry is to enable nations to come to a place of repentance and of overturning through RESTITUTION. There are many nations that are suffering from terrible curses because of what they did or did not do concerning Israel and the Jewish People. For the most part the Continent of Africa is suffering from this greatly! Many nations in Africa since their independence from Great Britain (also France in some cases) have fallen into abject poverty. When one begins to investigate the causes it is very easy to find out that at the time of their independence they also mistreated the local Jews that for the most part were very wealthy builders and cheated them or expropriated all of their property. In some cases Jews were expelled out of Africa. We have one friend that used to do massive building projects in an African nation and when this particular nation got free from its European type government, the new African government expropriated his wealth and refused to stand by the payments of contracts previously made. This particular friend of ours an Israeli Jew lost 26 million dollars due to that unjust and corrupt treatment and that particular African nation is in deep distress today. There are a few of those in Africa but not only in Africa were you can trace that the economical decline started when the Jews in the nations suffered unjust treatment and were cheated or robbed financially; Also when nations declared solidarity with the “Palestinian Cause”.
That is why it is even more exciting to hear reports like the ones coming from Malaysia, a Moslem nation where we recently visited and repentance on behalf of the nation took place. Not only that the RM, the national currency IMMEDIATELY jumped and became the strongest it has ever been but also the Islamic Sharia laws that prevented any Moslem from changing his religion under penalty of death have began to shake. There is an overturning happening in Malaysia; that could become a nationwide revival especially if the issues of restitution are taken care of. Identificational repentance has to lead to RESTITUTION. Without restitution it is only a partial change.
What is RESTITUTION?
The best account of restitution in the Scriptures can be found in 2 Samuel 21.
“Now there was a famine in the days of David for three years, year after year; and David sought the presence of Yahveh. And Yahveh said, "It is for Saul and his bloody house, because he put the Gibeonites to death.” v. 1
Notice that there was a famine which stops the economy altogether and people die of hunger. The answer of Yahveh to David was very surprising: “It is because of what your predecessor did”. In other words King David was not directly at fault, but rather someone that had ruled before him. Also notice that David did not attribute the famine to “Mother Nature” but rather to “Father God”! Too many people think that the natural catastrophes are simply because nature is “acting up”. They do not understand that it is the Creator of Nature that is “acting up” as nations despise His word and His warnings!
“So the king called the Gibeonites and spoke to them (now the
Gibeonites were not of the sons of Israel but of the remnant of the
Amorites, and the sons of Israel made a covenant with them, but Saul
had sought to kill them in his zeal for the sons of Israel and
Judah).”
v. 2
The response of David was extremely quick! He had no time to waste! His people had suffered from hunger for three years, there were no crops and the cattle was dying! The first thing that he did was to call the wronged party! In this case it was the Gibeonites! Now the Gibeonites were to be protected (not slaughtered) due to a covenant made with Joshua. Notice that Elohim honors the covenants that we make and calls us to be responsible to fulfill our vows. Too many people make commitments and vows and break them and think nothing of it! But while we are making a vow or making a promise to someone, Elohim is RECORDING OUR WORDS and holds us accountable!
“Thus David said to the Gibeonites, "What should I do for you? And how can I make atonement that you may bless the inheritance of Yahveh?" v.3
The question that David asked the Gibeonites was a very dangerous question! In fact King David put himself at the mercy of “whatever the Gibeonites would request!” David knew that he had nothing to lose for unless the Gibeonites would bless Israel, Israel was going to die of starvation. Three years had already passed since the beginning of that drought! So many presidents, kings and priests in the nations should be asking that question: “What should we do to bless Israel, so the curse will break and Israel can bless us and release us”. All Church leaders should be asking that question, all presidents should be asking that question. What kind of restitution can we do so the national curses can break? In fact if the question is not asked, nations will perish and will remain Goat Nations rather than Sheep Nations.
This particular scripture is directly related to what nations did to help or did not do to help the Jewish people in their distress. The brothers of Y’shua are the Jewish People and He is very “touchy” when it comes to His brothers!
King David was humble enough to go to the Gibeonites and put himself at their mercy! Their request was to execute all the offspring of King Saul. Their request was revenge. Our request is not revenge but rather to help us bring life to the desert! That the nations help us establish Israel in its Land by settling the Land, helping in Alyah (immigration), that they honor us by establishing their Embassy in Jerusalem our capital, the Holy City. And of course help us fund the Gospel so that all of Israel receives a witness of Messiah and all nations know about the Land and the People were the King was born.
The outcome of acts of restitution is amazing and the same can happen even in the poorest of African, Asian or South American nations. The drought can stop, storms can subside, poverty can be overthrown, life expectancy can sky rocket and the Blessing can again dwell in the Land. Acts of RESTITUTION, Rectify the wrong done. The best question to ask is “What must I do so Israel can bless me, my Church, my family, my nation”.
Recently we had dinner in a very special restaurant in Dallas with
our USA administrators and friends. The owners of the restaurant
were PERSIANS (Iran). When they asked us where we are from, I said
“From Israel your best friend”. To which the owner began to
apologize for his government that wanted to annihilate Israel by
saying that the people of Iran for the most part don’t agree with
the line of the government. As we had dinner this precious Persian
tried his best to “pamper us”. As we were leaving the restaurant, he
stopped us. “No you cannot go yet we must bless you before you go”.
Then his waiter came in with a tray filled with dessert for FREE
(this was a high class restaurant) in order to bless us. We were so
touched and sat to enjoy this “restitution dessert”. Before we left
they asked us to please bless their business and their lives. Rabbi
and I prayed and released prayer and blessing. Now these
Due to Replacement Theology and the past sins of the Church and of course the present sins of the nations, all Christians and all national and ministry leaders should be asking the question. “What must I do so that Israel blesses me and the curse breaks?” We are privileged to have been chosen by the Almighty to be a Jewish Contact Point for such acts of restitution and repentance so that the curse due to “mishandling” the Jewish People can break, the famine the plague, the spiritual dryness, the lack, the plague and others can break in all peoples, both individuals, in communities and in entire nations.
As you support our ministry you are sowing into the overturning of curses in all nations that receive us, so that they can be saved from the curse and from eternal damnation. Also your sowing is working on your behalf to bring about the blessing promised through Abraham to the nations when you bless his offspring, Israel and the Jews,
“And I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse and in you all the families of the earth will be blessed." Genesis 12:3
Once restitution is made towards Israel (beginning with individuals!), Elohim will answer the prayers and entire families, communities and nations will be saved from the curse and from eternal damnation!
“They buried the bones of Saul and Jonathan his son in the country of Benjamin in Zela, in the grave of Kish his father; thus they did all that the king commanded, and after that Elohim was moved by prayer for the land.” 2 Samuel 21:14
As you bless us and Israel so that we can continue the Holy Work that Yah has given us to do, may He be moved by your prayers! And may many National and Church leaders get a hold of this message so that the nations can be rescued from famine and from eternal death. This is the Last Chance before He comes! May Y’shua be glorified!
