Loving Your Dreams

[That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Messiah, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of Elohim [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with Elohim Himself]! Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]-- To Him be glory in the ecclesia and in Messiah Y’shua throughout all generations forever and ever. Shabbat shalom dearly beloved:

There is nothing more important in the world and in our lives than LOVE. LOVE is Elohim Himself. Nothing is worthwhile without love! Today I will speak about an aspect of LOVE that will change all of your life forever! This aspect is the aspect of LOVING YOUR DREAMS! When you love the Dreams that YAHVEH has placed in you, you are fulfilling BOTH Love Commandments at ONCE.  You  love the Almighty with ALL of you and you are also loving Yourself as well as Your Neighbor! The FULFILLMENT of God given dreams ALWAYS blesses mankind since they bring the Kingdom of Elohim down to EARTH! This is the reason why Y’shua taught His disciples to pray.

“And He said to them, "When you pray, say: 'Father, hallowed be Your name.  Your kingdom come.”  Luke 11:2

The moment that we begin ASKING and PRAYING for His Kingdom to come, we will be receiving some holy dreams and visions and His kingdom coming to earth THROUGH US. We are His earthly vessels for Yah’s Kingdom to be manifested! Those dreams are so awesome, so amazing and WILD that they seem absolutely IMPOSSIBLE for us to DO or to fulfill! Anyone that has ever received a dream or a vision from Yah knows what I am talking about! We really think that we are “crazy” or “exaggerated” when we get a true vision from Him! It is because our minds are not accustomed to Kingdom Views! We are so used to see what is down here on earth, which is not GOOD or WONDERFUL but, rather painful, fearsome, frustrating, disappointing and POOR! That when we get a Heavenly Vision, a dream in our hearts, an earnest yearning for some Glorious Project, our first reaction may be FEAR or ANGER or FRUSTRATION!

I have experienced all three and they have made my life a misery! When you allow fear, anger or frustration to CHOKE and eventually KILL your dream, just know that DEPRESSION will follow! You must Think,-Imagine, and Dream your dream until it becomes a reality! Paul said that Y’shua is able to do infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams. But He will only do to the EXTENT that we will pray, desire, think, hope and dream! Our business is to ask and dream, and His business is to bring it to pass! When we try to do His job, we get VERY frustrated and HOPELESNESS sets in. Our job is to let Yah’s dream in us run its course by NOURISHING it with faith, the Word, time in prayer and by letting the Holy Spirit RIDE our IMAGINATION! 

IN THE IMAGE OF THE CREATOR

Elohim imagined the world into existence and then it manifested.

“This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that Yahveh Elohim made earth and heaven.  Now no shrub of the field was yet in the earth, and no plant of the field had yet sprouted, for Yahveh Elohim had not sent rain upon the earth, and there was no man to cultivate the ground.”   Genesis 2:4-5

In Hebrew the word BARAH is to Create and YATSAR is to FORM. Though he had created everything in chapter one, nothing yet had been formed. In other words, the entire Creation was in the Spirit of His Mind only! It was a DREAM but He had brought the dream of His mind to pass by declaring the Word over it- LET THERE BE and IT WAS! However, you could see nothing with the natural eye in chapter 2 of Genesis and YET it EXISTED! It is the same with your dreams.  You may see nothing with the natural eye and yet your dreams are a REALITY before they MANIFEST!

“Then Yahveh Elohim formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.” Genesis 2:7

The next stage of Elohim’s Creation, which is the stage of Natural Manifestation was the YATSAR stage. This is the stage when what is in the SPIRIT gets formed in the natural! Adam existed in the Spirit but no one could see him until the YATSAR stage came forth. Yatsar in Hebrew means:

To give FORM to a “figment of an Oman’s (artist’s) imagination” and make it a REALITY that can be seen and appreciated in the natural realm!

Every Oman (artist) is a YOTSER (a creative performer or doer). But the YETSIRAT OMANUT (Work of Art) is in the heart and the mind of the Oman, and it occupies all of his waking moments and his dreams at night! That is the reason why Omanim (artists) are never happy unless they are dreaming, envisioning, imagining and performing what is their hearts!

The Biggest Oman in the Universe is the Creator Himself and we are made in His image and likeness. That means that we carry within us the same ABILITY and NEED to bring dreams to fulfillment!

The word for ARTIST in Hebrew OMAN comes from the same root as the word AMEN, the word EMUN (Trust!) and the word EMUNAH (Faith!)

IT IS TIME TO RESTORE DREAMING

The following article I believe is very pertinent to our subject, for the simple fact that modern day Psychology, (and even New Age,) have found the simple truth of the Bible that ancient societies knew all too well! Many times I am amazed at how satan uses Elohim’s Truth for his own perverted agenda, while the children of the Kingdom go about “naked”!

Research has shown that people who are deprived from entering the dream phase of sleep (i.e. REM stage), exhibit symptoms of irritability and anxiety. In one dream study, volunteers were woken up right before they entered into the dream state. Then they were allowed to fall back to sleep. Again, right before they enter REM sleep, they were woken up.  This continued on through the night. The volunteers slept the same amount of time as they normally did. The next day, these volunteers went about their day. They were observed to be disoriented, depressed, crabby, and quick tempered. There was a general impairment in their daily functioning.  Some ate more than usual.  As this study continued on through several nights, the subjects became more and more noticeably agitated.  Deprivation of REM sleep causes over-sensitivity, lack of concentration and memory loss. 

This study shows the importance of dreaming and its role in our well-being and health. Some researchers believe that dreams help us tackle stress. It is clear that dreaming help recharge the mind and revitalize the body. Dreaming is a necessity. 

Daydreaming is often disregarded and a neglected aspect of dream study.  Not a lot of emphasis seem to be placed on our daydreams. They are often overlooked as fleeting and wandering thoughts. However, the meanings to your nightly dream symbols are also applicable to your daydreams.  The content in our daydreams are helpful in the understanding of your true feelings and help in fulfilling your goals.

Daydreaming occurs when you are semi-awake and it is the spontaneous imagining or recalling of various images or experiences.

Daydreams are often viewed as light-hearted in nature and are no more than silly fantasies or wishful thinking. Actually, the worrying of things can be classified as a form of daydreaming. When you worry, you are visualizing an unwanted or negative outcome to a situation. By repeating these negative images in your mind, you are more likely to make them happen. Next time you start worrying, try to think of a positive outcome.

Just as your worrisome daydreams can unwittingly come true via repetition in your mind, you can use it as a tool to your advantage and make positive events happen. You can utilize daydreams as a technique to visualize what you want and hope to happen. It is said that many athletes, musicians and business leaders utilize daydreams to envision success. They anticipate or imagine landing the perfect jump, closing a deal, or making that hit single.  Tiger Woods, for one, has said to use daydreams to improve his golf game. You too can utilize daydreams for something as simple as studying for and acing the next test or for landing that job.

Positive daydreaming is healthy. It serves as a temporary escape from the demands of reality. It is also a good way to release pent up frustrations without physically acting them out. All to often you worry about your job, your family, finances, a relationship, etc. It is a way to leave the world behind and ponder about what could've been or should've been. It relieves stress, improves attitude, fosters creativity and refresh the mind, body, and spirit. (Article taken from dreammoods.com)

As you can see the world has discovered the Truth of imagining, day dreaming and dreaming.  That is the tool that the Creator used to bring the world into existence.

Dreams and visions have directed entire societies and have shaped history!

YAH’S BABIES

The dreams and visions that our Abba-Father places in us are His BABIES. A dream must be treated, cared for and nourished as a Baby in the Womb! Too many people in this earth are aborting their babies because of fear of responsibility, fear of lack of provision, fear of society and plain old selfishness! No normal believer in Messiah would think to abort his/her baby as a “solution” to all the different fears that can attack one’s soul! However, THOUSANDS of believers are CHOKING, KILLING and ABORTING Yah’s dreams and visions every day!

The reason is IGNORANCE! But today KNOWLEDGE has come your way!

There is a saying in Hebrews in what concerns the fear of bearing children:

“Every child (that is born) brings with him his own blessing”

The same is true with EVERY dream that Yah places within you. Every one of them has WITHIN IT the ability to FULFILL itself. The fear that we might not be able to carry the dream and vision to term, to birth it and do it is UNFOUNDED! It is a DEMONIC fear inspired by SATAN himself who hates you, and wants you to abort your God given dream, because He is JEALOUS!  He is totally scared of that “baby” that you carry inside, because it is a Kingdom Baby, and it will cause him to retreat some more and to loose territory!

Remember this:

Elohim is able to DO far beyond your wildest dreams! But you have to dream your dreams FIRST!

DREAMING COMES FIRST-DOING COMES LATER

Most people try to put the “cart before the horse” and they try to FIGURE out how to accomplish the dream. Your figuring out will only CHOKE and eventually KILL the dream. DO NOT FIGURE OUT ANYTHING!!! He said that He is able to do BEYOND your figuring out! You just dream, imagine, think about it, let His Spirit permeate your soul with wonderful thoughts about your “baby”! Talk the Word to your dream, sing it new songs, rock it, massage it, feed it, believe it, see it- LOVE YOUR DREAM!  When the fullness of time comes, it will be BORN a PERFECT BABY! A Painless Childbirth!

Some dreams take longer than others to come forth.  Do not worry about the timing, just be concerned and relax into loving your dream, talking to the Father of the Baby about it often, and consulting with His Spirit-Ruach. Then ONE day, SUDDENLY, the contractions will come and in a jiffy your dream will become a REALITY, without almost any effort on your part, besides a confident ‘PUSH’- Pray Until Something Happens and Halelu-YAH!!!  AFTER its born you’ll have to raise it but that is the subject for another article!

My friends; when you begin loving your dreams and abandoning yourself to dreaming them, you will experience an awesome restoration of JOY, PEACE and HOPE. When you LOVE, Father LOVES with you! You will be filled with the fullness of His LOVE when you LOVE His “Babies”-DREAMS!

Y’shua endured the cross because He kept on dreaming His Father’s Dream of an awesome BRIDE made of Jews and Gentiles! He was dreaming the New Jerusalem even when he was hanging on the Cross! That is what gave Him the strength to say: “Father forgive them for they do not know what they do!”

“fixing our eyes on Y’shua, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of Elohim.”  Hebrews 12:2

The RESTORATION of dreaming brings about hope, faith and joy

Some practical suggestions:

Keep a special note pad where you continually add details to your dream and vision. Use drawings, tape your thoughts, have word prayers that you use for you dreams, make yourself a picture or a video/dvd using creativity of what you envision. You can use plasteline or clay, crayons, cut up pictures, paste promise scriptures, etc… Just like the children in a kindergarten! Use anything that will help you make it tangible in your imagination and that others that love you and your dream can identify with. Do not be afraid of looking foolish or childlike.

For an answer Y’shua called over a child, whom he stood in the middle of the room, and said, "I'm telling you, once and for all, that unless you return to square one and start over like children, you're not even going to get a look at the kingdom, let alone get in. Whoever becomes simple and elemental again, like this child, will rank high in God's kingdom. What's more, when you receive the childlike on my account, it's the same as receiving me. Most people fear that they will not have the ability to bring it to pass and that fear is put to rest in this article. It is not your business to bring it to pass, just to dream it and to respond to His Spirit when He leads you to do things!

Then he said, "This is God's Message to Zerubbabel (and to YOU the reader!):

'You can't force these things. They only come about through my Spirit,' says God-of-the-Angel-Armies. 'So, big mountain, who do you think you are? Next to Zerubbabel you're nothing but a molehill. He'll proceed to set the Cornerstone in place, accompanied by cheers: Yes! Yes! Do it!'" Zechariah 4:6,7

Some would ask: “Bishop, and what if I am wrong and it wasn’t God at all?” My answer is “what if you are right and it was from Yah and you aborted His baby, and became miserable, hopeless and depressed because of lack of dreaming, lack of vision?”Take the risk of dreaming all the way through! It will be much more harmful not to have dreamt at all, because of fear of mistakes, than to have dreamt wrongly! Take the risk to LOVE yes! even your dreams! LOVE NEVER FAILS!

A Life Changing Prayer

Dear Abba please forgive me for choking and killing the dreams that you have given me through unbelief, fear or selfishness. From now on I choose to love all of my God given dreams, and I abandon myself to your Creative Ruach-Spirit until they are born happily and healthily, and they become a reality for Your glory. Teach me to pray, think, imagine and dream your dreams in Y’shua’s Name. Amen!

My response is to get down on my knees before the Father, this magnificent Father who parcels out all heaven and earth. I ask him to strengthen you by his Spirit—not a brute strength but a glorious inner strength—that Messiah will live in you as you open the door and invite him in. And I ask him that with both feet planted firmly on love, you'll be able to take in with all followers of Y’shua the extravagant dimensions of Messiah’s love. Reach out and experience the breadth! Test its length! Plumb the depths! Rise to the heights! Live full lives, full in the fullness of Elohim.  Elohim can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.
