THE RESTORATION OF ISRAEL IS EVERYONE’S BUSINESS

“If I forget you, O Jerusalem, may my right hand forget her skill. May my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth if I do not remember you, if I do not exalt Jerusalem above my chief joy.” Psalms 137:5-6

Shabbat Shalom Dearly Beloved:

Since the inception of the reborn nation of Israel, this tiny nation has been in the news more than any other. While for the most part the media has been very critical of Israel, it still remains a fact that Israel is "everybody’s business." Sometimes I say, "We can’t even sneeze here without the UN voting on it." Much of the attention we get is pretty negative due to world rebellion against Yahveh’s plan to restore Israel and to sit in Jerusalem as the King of the Universe.

"But as for Me, I have installed My King upon Zion, My holy mountain." Psalms 2:6

The fact is that Israel is the most important, talked about subject in world news and world politics! The good news is that very soon the King of Israel is going to be ruling all the nations with a rod of iron and that satan will be bound (by one angel!) for 1000 years. It is time that we start planning ahead and relating to the 1000 year reign that is coming. When I travel through my land, I like to imagine what I would be doing during the 1000 year Reign and where I would like to live and have my offices! After all, we will be ruling with Him as Kings and Priests. Just like a child born to a kingly family anywhere in the world needs to be trained on how to, walk, talk and act as a king, so do we! However, for the most part - “church” is not teaching you to be a KING (yes ladies, you too!!!). Since we have the privilege of being positioned in the center of action, the Jerusalem area, we are getting more and more expectant by the minute. The more the enemy roars against us, the more excited we are getting! We are truly born for such a time as this!

Queen Esther had to learn that lesson; though she was raised as an orphan, she had to develop the mind of royalty. However, “the orphan spirit” took over when she refused to help her people because of FEAR. Now FEAR is one thing that royalty CANNOT AFFORD! She almost lost her destiny and promotion because she was playing with fear! Had it not been for Mordecai, her uncle, she would have gone down in history as a NOBODY; but when she realized that ISRAEL was her business, she regained her composure (through fasting and praying), dressed in her royal garments and took on the royal position!

“For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, " Abba! Father!" Romans 8:15

Queen Esther thought that she could flirt with fear and forget about her calling, in the same manner many people around the world, Christians included, have been flirting with fear. They have refused to get involved with Israel’s restoration opposing the current turn of events in the world. Most of the world, like “sardines,” is swimming towards God’s judgment for the cause of Zion.

“For Yahveh has a day of vengeance, a year of recompense for the cause of Zion.” Isaiah 34:8

“Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of Yahveh is near in the valley of decision.” Joel 3:14

They will realize too late that they were swimming in the wrong direction (though the majority is doing the same!). But those royal ones with a millennial reign mentality, they are like the salmon, the king of the fish; they are swimming upstream! Anyone that is joining with Yahveh’s eternal plan to restore Israel as a nation and the land of Israel to the people of Israel, is like a salmon, the king of the fish, and is swimming in a completely OPPOSITE direction of the rest of the world! If you see lots of people going the other direction ("pro-Palestinian cause," "pro-Hamas," "pro-Arab oil," "pro-road map") just know that they are going the WRONG direction and not the way of royalty (see Psalms 83 and Joel 3:1-3). Let the true kings and priests arise and fight, work, pray and give for the restoration of Israel!

“On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen; All day and all night they will never keep silent you who remind Yahveh, take no rest for yourselves; And give Him no rest until He establishes and makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.” Isaiah 62:6-7

One of the BEST ways to support Israel’s right to exist is by COMING HERE! That is by putting your feet in the land and travelling with us through the land in prayer, shofar blowing and proclamation! By having encounters with Israelis and, at times, government people and effecting them with your faith in the God of the Covenant! Israel is the land of THE King, all of it! From the Nile to the Euphrates, from the mountains of Jordan to the Mediterranean Sea! No other nation but Israel will ever again have sovereignity over this land of promise. The King plans to return real soon and wants His Land back!

“Yahveh has sworn by His right hand and by His strong arm, "I will never again give your grain as food for your enemies; Nor will foreigners drink your new wine for which you have labored." But those who garner it will eat it and praise Yahveh; And those who gather it will drink it in the courts of My sanctuary.” Isaiah 62:8-9

Every Christian and Messianic believer, every unbeliever, every idol worshipper, every human being will have to “kiss the Son” on the issue of Israel; this is no longer a matter of debate or speculation! The God of Israel has risen from His Holy Throne and He intends to do a “quick job” of restoring His People, His Land and His Kingdom to Israel. A king does not like to be standing for too long, so it is better, much better, for all to comply with His plan and kiss the Son lest He be angry! The last seven years saw the most devastating events in the nations: the fall of the Twin Towers, the Tsunami and Katrina to name a few. The next seven years will be fast paced at a speed we have not known before and the sole purpose is to put Israel on the MAP - the WHOLE MAP promised to Abraham!

“Kiss the Son,lest He be angry, and you perish in the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.” Psalms 2:12 (NKJV)

Israel is your business! King David wrote the following eternal words:

Very soon people will be able to do nothing and speak nothing until they REMEMBER Jerusalem, Israel in order to restore her and prepare her for the Return of her King Messiah.

As you gather in your respective congregations this weekend, REMEMBER that Israel is suffering and that unrighteous governments have sold her out for money. REMEMBER the citizens of Sderot that are traumatized by so many Kassam rockets that have been fired at them from the Gush Katif/Gaza area! REMEMBER Gush Katif, the lovely hot houses, the blood spilt there by her loving sons, that now is being used to attack Sderot and the NEGEV settlements. REMEMBER that without Israel, there would be no Bible, no Messiah, no redemption or salvation. REMEMBER that Israel is the mother of all Gentile believers…Remember your Spiritual Mother is suffering and it is EVERYONES BUSINESS! Ask yourself and the Holy Spirit, “What can I do to make Israel MY BUSINESS?”

“For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not keep quiet, until her righteousness goes forth like brightness, and her salvation like a torch that is burning.” Isaiah 62:1
