RETURN TO YOUR FIRST LOVE
Love (God's love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking .1 Corinthians 13:5 The Amplified Bible Shabbat shalom dearly beloved: I remember when I just got saved. I prayed many daring prayers. I had nothing to loose! I was so broken and bankrupt when Y’shua rescued me, that I wanted the BEST from His Kingdom and for His Glory. So I prayed, “Father, let Your love be my FIRST weapon of warfare!” 18 years later, I can say that He has been faithfully answering that prayer by making sure that I go through test after test in order to “sharpen the Love Weapon”. Looking back, I can see that I have been given AMPLE opportunity to forsake Love altogether! The pressure has come from within the Church, from outside of it, from my children, my husband, my team, my disciples, my partners and my most amazingly trying circumstances. EVERY time I have had to renew my decision to let Love be my FIRST weapon of warfare, I have surely “blown it” a few times and have had to repent and put myself in order again! However, I can assure you that had it not been for the “Love Choice”, I would have lost my faith, my vision, my health and my hope long ago! Love has preserved me, protected me, and propelled me forward EVERY TIME! LOVE NEVER FAILS! Many times when I have acted upon Love in any given situation, I have been accused falsely but after I have stood my ground, and stayed in LOVE, I have seen it prevail against all false accusations and all trials, and the “Love Story” goes on… One of the most amazing scriptures in the entire Bible is the urgent Call of Y’shua to return to our FIRST LOVE: "But you walked away from your first love—why? What's going on with you, anyway? Do you have any idea how far you've fallen? A Lucifer fall! "Turn back! Recover your dear early love. No time to waste, for I'm well on my way to removing your light from the golden circle” Revelation 2:4, 5 The Message Most of you are probably wondering what is that FIRST Love? And how does one get it back? There is a simple answer to this: 1. Get rid of ALL self centeredness
Self centeredness will BLOCK your love life completely. Self
centeredness, egocentrism, self seeking and plain old selfishness
will lead you to give in Self Centeredness from the Webster’s New Collegiate Dictionary: Concerned only with one’s own desires, needs or interests, selfish. This is a SPIRITUAL DISEASE that has this generation completely CAPTIVE! Most, if not all of the mental problems are derived from self centeredness. In fact, self centeredness affects the brain and the Central Nervous System (CNS). In Hebrew the word for NERVOUS SYSTEM is, MAARECHET HAATSABIM ETSEB means a NERVE, ATSABIM are NERVES. However, ETSEB also means other things that are interrelated with the Nervous System: ETSEB means: IDOL, Atsabim is IDOLS in plural and it also means SADNESS, GRIEF and WORK or TOIL. Now let us put these things together: There is a direct relationship between WORSHIP OF SELF, (Self Centeredness, caring only for one self, over preoccupation about “your” life,) and between IDOLATRY, and that damages the Nervous System and causes MENTAL DISEASES and even SUICIDE: 1. When you go through some sort of GRIEF and SADNESS, and you revolve around your grief, you will become SICK. 2. If you IGNORE it and pretend it’s not there, you will also become sick. But, if you give it over to YAHVEH, He will take it from you and He will comfort you! 3. When you nurse a grudge due to some grieving situation, you are affecting your nervous system by being self centered and by not forgiving.

When you suffered some trauma and you become fearful and stop
trusting in Yahveh, your fear is very self centered and is always
concerned about your own life. That fear if not dealt with, will
become tremendous anxiety and panic. 5. When you feel “sorry for yourself,” and as a poor VICTIM of terrible circumstances, and because of that you need to “take care of YOU”, blaming everyone else. 6. If you are in active witchcraft or idolatry of any kind such as the Free Masons and all other secret lodges and societies, New Age, Satanism, Astrology, Kabala etc…Mental diseases occur very often and manifest from generation to generation. These negative feelings affect the Central Nervous System and even the SEROTONIN in the brain! Serotonin is the brain hormone that if imbalanced causes Depression and Manic Depression. If it’s levels are below the norm people suffer from Depression and if above the norm people suffer from Mania, (a hyper condition). Manic Depression and all Depressions is the number one disease that plagues this present day society besides Heart Attacks! All of these are greatly affected, if not directly caused by Self Worship, which is Self Centeredness, by leading a life revolving around yourself, your pain, your problems, your family, your desires, your needs, your opinions, your circumstances, your feelings; in other words- IDOLATRY! The Gospel of Y’shua provides ALL healing for the broken hearted and all deliverance for the captives! As we forsake our own Self Worship, and will worship Him, willing to put Him FIRST, trust Him, believe in Him and obey Him without excuses-all the other pains, hurts and distresses will be healed! (Isaiah 61) The antidote to this serious SPIRITUAL DISEASE was given to us by Y’shua: Therefore I tell you, stop being perpetually uneasy (anxious and worried) about your life, what you shall eat or what you shall drink; or about your body, what you shall put on. Is not life greater [in quality] than food, and the body [far above and more excellent] than clothing? For the Gentiles (heathen) wish for and crave and diligently seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows well that you need them all. But seek aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides. So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble. Matthew 6 25, 32-34 the Amplified Bible Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don't get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes. Matthew 6:34 The Message Self Centeredness concentrates on what HURTS you and what happens to YOU; rather to what Elohim is ABLE and DESIROUS to do for you and through you for OTHERS. A Self Centered life is a life full of FEAR: Fear of death, fear to love, fear to trust, fear of rejection, and fear to loose, fear of heights, fear of disease, fear and more fear. Fear is an EVIL SPIRIT that you can either feed, or REJECT ,and CAST OUT. LOVE casts out all fear and self centeredness!
Fear leaves when you CHOOSE loving Yah above all, loosing your life, (that He purchased with the Blood of Y’shua!,) for the sake of advancing His Kingdom through your FAITH and OBEDIENCE. When you choose His plans and opinions over yours; when you choose to take the RISK to LOVE HIM above yourself and because of that you end up loving others; when you choose to forgive all and to love even your enemies; when you are willing to loose it all but not His Presence, then self centeredness and fear would have lost their grip. LOVE WINS! In this self seeking, self centered, heart sick, mentally sick generation, there is only one option for sanity and it is LOVE. Self seeking destroyed the Roman Empire from within, and self seeking is about to destroy this present day society, Israel, the Nations and the Church! Don't be naive. There are difficult times ahead. As the end approaches, people are going to be self-absorbed, money-hungry, self-promoting, stuck-up, profane, contemptuous of parents, crude, coarse, dog-eat-dog, unbending, slanderers, impulsively wild, savage, cynical, treacherous, ruthless, bloated windbags, addicted to lust, and allergic to God. They'll make a show of religion, but behind the scenes they're animals. Stay clear of these people. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 The Message
“You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward Elohim? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of Elohim. Or do you think that the Scripture speaks to no purpose: "He jealously desires the Spirit which He has made to dwell in us"? But He gives a greater grace Therefore it says, ELOHIM IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE." Submit therefore to Elohim resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to Elohim and He will draw near to you Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Be miserable and mourn and weep; let your laughter be turned into mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the presence of Yahveh, and He will exalt you.” James 4:4-10 I like how The Message Bible puts it: You're cheating on God. If all you want is your own way, flirting with the world every chance you get, you end up enemies of God and his way. And do you suppose God doesn't care? The proverb has it that "he's a fiercely jealous lover." And what he gives in love is far better than anything else you'll find. It's common knowledge that "God goes against the willful proud; God gives grace to the willing humble." So let God work his will in you. Yell a loud no to the Devil and watch him scamper. Say a quiet yes to God and he'll be there in no time. Quit dabbling in sin. Purify your inner life. Quit playing the field. Hit bottom, and cry your eyes out. The fun and games are over. Get serious, really serious. Get down on your knees before the Master; it's the only way you'll get on your feet. James 4:4-10 The Message PRAY WITH ME RIGHT NOW!
So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I'm bankrupt without love.
Love never gives up.
