Paths of Righteousness Shabbat Shalom dearly beloved: "He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name sake" Psalms 23:3b This verse is one of the most revealing verses of the entire Bible as it literally teaches us much about YAH'S ways of leading us. It also explains the marked difference between "Hebrew Thinking" and "Greek Thinking". For the most part the Church has been schooled in Greek Thinking as a fruit of Replacement Theology. This kind of thinking is totally contrary to Elohim's Holy Word and its roots are in the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. It also puts "God in a box" and causes much confusion and disappointment. In fact I believe that "Greek Thinking" has kept us in a spiritual desert for a long, long time and it has severely blocked true obedience and the ensuing Holiness, Wholeness and Glory. Let me explain the difference between both systems of thought: Greek system of thought is LINEAR and LOGIC and it leads to bondage and religion Hebrew system of thought is CIRCULAR and CREATIVE and it leads to freedom and intimacy When you read the above verse in your language and you think about the word PATHS of RIGHTEOUSNESS for the most part you would probably imagine a STRAIGHT PATH that leads you from point A to point B. If this would not happen then you would feel betrayed, cheated, rejected and disappointed. Let's say that Abba promised you something like this: "Thus says the Lord: You will be a great vessel of finances to My people. I will bless the work of your hands and establish wealth in your life". Anyone upon receiving such a word would be shouting HALELUYAH!!! God is good! And would be expecting this word to come to pass shortly or straight away. In fact most would be "helping" the Almighty to fulfill it ASAP. After a few months, a year or two of financial hardship and heartbreaks, hopelessness would set in, discouragement and a deep sense of betrayal. Thoughts of unbelief and disappointment would plague your mind and you would either fall from faith; and betray the Living God or you would fortify yourself against His promises, choosing not to believe in His goodness anymore. For the most part bitterness and disappointment would set in and lead your life! Am I describing something familiar here??? You have fallen prey to the "Greek System of Thinking". You have thought that the word "path" is a STRAIGHT LINE and have tried to make Yah's Word come to pass with the help of your own logic- You had it all "figured out" and it failed. Then you may feel like a failure and for the most part blame Yahveh. It has happened to the best of us! In fact Abraham fell into that trap himself when he saw Elohim's promise lingering and decided to give "Ishmael" a "try". The rest is history as the "good plan" designed by your logic will always be the ENEMY of the "Perfect Plan" designed by YAHVEH! The only solution to get back on track was a painful one suggested by Sarah, Abraham's wife: "Cast the slave woman and her son", expel Ishmael! Apparently El Shaddai thought that it was a good solution in the light of the circumstances and told Abraham to listen to his wife since Yahveh will have His plan go through His promised son that would still become a reality in a near future! Of course Isaac was born a short time after and brought lots of JOY! Still Ishmael would stay the sworn enemy of Isaac to this day! Linear Greek Thinking is VERY COSTLY!!! Linear Greek Thinking and your own LOGIC is the CARNAL MIND and it is an enemy of Yahveh! “Because the carnal mind is enmity against Elohim; for it is not subject to the law of Elohim, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please Elohim.” Romans 8:7,8
"He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name sake" reads in the Hebrew as follows: "In REST and TRANQUILITY He shows me the way to walk up in CIRCLES that will teach me His right ways for my life so that I can give Him all the Glory. Finally after walking up in circles I will attain the summit of His Holy Mountain and His name will be glorified" HE LEADS ME- YANCHENI
“For as many as are led by the Spirit of Elohim, these are sons of Elohim.“ Romans 8:14 IN PATHS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS- BEMAAGALEI TSEDEK The Hebrew word used for PATHS in this verse is the word: MAAGALEI or the word for CIRCLES It implies climbing up a mountain by going round and round, higher and higher. You cannot go up a mountain on a straight line! For the most part when you climb up any mountain you will not see the summit you KNOW it is there! So your FAITHFUL climb will be your "ticket to success". This kind of walk implies: Faithfulness, Patience, Perseverance, Diligence, Steadfastness, Faith, Courage, Determination, Wisdom and Carefulness". There is no "rocket climbing" or "overnight success" in this kind of climbing. "Humpty dumpty had a great fall is not welcome here!" This kind of walk is voided of selfish ambition and selfish motivation; it is motivated by FAITH, TRUST and OBEDIENCE. It is fueled by HOPE and LOVE and it can NEVER FAIL. This is a SHALOM WALK and it gives all the Glory to YAH. It believes all things that Elohim has said and it NEVER QUITS or sins to "comfort oneself" for the hardship of the way! This kind of walk bears awesome FRUIT of RIGHTEOUSNESS, HOLINESS and TRUE GLORY! The Spirit of the Fear of Yahveh is a guiding force before every true sheep that follows the Shepherd higher and higher! When fulfillment comes you are prepared to walk in His Glory, His Blessing and in His Greatness without PRIDE or REBELLION and you are humbled at His Awesomeness giving Him ALL the glory for ALL of your achievements!
FOR HIS NAME SAKE- LEMAAN SHMO As I have said in previous teachings on this subject: The sheep are created for the Shepherd and not vice versa. Their wool and product is ALWAYS the Shepherd's Reward. He can do with it as He pleases! And so it is with our LIFE, MINISTRY or BUSINESS. He is the one that created us, gifted us, empowered us, gives us our very breath and to Him we owe ALL the homage and for HIM we live and do. Any other motivation will lead us into paths of unrighteousness and to fall off His Holy Mountain. Our utmost desire is that His Holy name will be glorified! That is the reason why He is restoring Israel and that is the reason why He wants Sheep Nations (Ezekiel 36, Matthew 25:32). He is jealous concerning His Holy Name! “Therefore thus says the Yahveh Elohim: ‘Now I will bring back the captives of Jacob, and have mercy on the whole house of Israel; and I will be jealous for My holy name” Ezekiel 39:25 Whatever He is doing in our life and wherever He is leading us it is for the purpose of transforming us in order to give Him Glory! He is more interested in our CHARACTER than our PERFORMANCE. Once our character is formed our performance will give Him Glory and His promises will be fulfilled in our lives! Just remember Joseph! He was taken from the prison to the palace in ONE DAY! But spent over 14 years "going round the mountain" experiencing unjust treatment before His promises came to pass and he did not sin!
“He sent a man before them— Joseph—who was sold as a slave. They hurt his feet with fetters, He was laid in irons. Until the time that his word came to pass, the word of Yahveh tested him. The king sent and released him, the ruler of the people let him go free. He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his possessions.” Psalms 105:17-21 I believe that you and I are called to GREATNESS, to be the HEAD and not the tail! The only thing that is obstructing most of us is "Greek Thinking" and your own "Good Ideas". I encourage you to get rid of your "Ishmaels" today and of all your disappointments and feelings of bitterness. Remember and thank YAH, stay clean and HOLY and know that all of His promises are Yes and Amen for the glory of God the Father. He wants you to succeed for the Glory of the Father! When the time comes for His promises to be fulfilled in your life, He will not tarry and you will give Him all the Glory! Meanwhile stay FAITHFULL, Stand on His Word, keep loving, keep forgiving, keep obedient, rejoice and keep on following the Shepherd UP His Mountain! For many of us that have been steadily going up His Holy Mountain, this year we will begin to glimpse the summit and will receive a SECOND WIND to make it all the way to the TOP! We will see many if not most of our promises fulfilled and will be baptized in exhilarating JOY, we will be in His Glory! For all others that have just begun this "Faith Walk" be encouraged and be faithful, this is all that matters. The rest is His business, your Isaac will arrive in due season, do not create "Ishmaels" or "good plans".
