We
are in Ivory Coast and Rabbi is in recovery retreat in a Tel Aviv hotel. Our
lives have been very hectic as usual but even more than usual since
Rabbi’s heart attack. After this trip we
will enter into a year of Shabbat from much travelling. Please pray for us as we
minister in this national event in Ivory Coast. We are 5 in the team and
Also remember to keep praying for Israel, as things are very volatile with the Palestinian authorities fighting each other! And with Ahmadinajad, the President of Iran threatening to use nuclear weapons and his target is Israel, then America and then Europe! Things are shaky every where yet most people are continuing business as usual. Let us pray and blow a shofar for a wake up call: 1. For the Body of Messiah. “For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?” 1 Peter 4:17 2. For the Jews in exile to come home- “Behold, I will send for many fishermen,” says Yahveh, “and they shall fish them; and afterward I will send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain and every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.” Jeremiah 16:16 3. For Israel’s struggle to exist- “Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, And do not be still, O God! For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; And those who hate You have lifted up their head. They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, And consulted together against Your sheltered ones. They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.” For they have consulted together with one consent; They form a confederacy against You: The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab and the Hagrites; Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre; Assyria also has joined with them; They have helped the children of Lot. Selah Deal with them as with Midian, As with Sisera, As with Jabin at the Brook Kishon, Who perished at En Dor, Who became as refuse on the earth. Make their nobles like Oreb and like Zeeb, Yes, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna, Who said, “Let us take for ourselves The pastures of God for a possession.” O my God, make them like the whirling dust, Like the chaff before the wind! As the fire burns the woods, And as the flame sets the mountains on fire, So pursue them with Your tempest, And frighten them with Your storm. Fill their faces with shame, That they may seek Your name, O Yahveh Let them be confounded and dismayed forever; Yes, let them be put to shame and perish, That they may know that You, whose name alone is Yahveh, Are the Most High over all the earth.” Psalms 83

5. For Rabbi Baruch to be restored fully to health. “For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh.” Proverbs 4:22 6. For me and the team in Ivory Coast. “For you shall go out with joy, And be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills Shall break forth into singing before you, And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Isaiah 55:12 Much love from Zion and Ivory Coast! ¨For Zion´s sake I will not keep silent¨ Isaiah 62:1 Your friends in Israel Rabbi Baruch and Bishop Dominiquae Bierman PS: See form attached if you would like to partner with us during this coming year of rest.
