COVENANT OF WEALTH #3

STOP PLAYING IT SAFE! KILLING THE VICTIM IN YOU

“Indeed, I have been crucified with Messiah. My ego is no longer central. It is no longer important that I appear righteous before you or have your good opinion, and I am no longer driven to impress God. Messiah lives in me. The life you see me living is not "mine," but it is lived by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I am not going to go back on that”. Galatians 2:20 The Message

Shabbat shalom dearly beloved:

When it comes to possessing our promises and living the full life of the Covenant, the number one enemy we have to fight is actually ourselves, our own ego! It is when our ego is so central that we become self important and easily offended and discouraged! Quitters have normally an unhealthy ego. When your ego dictates your course it is called a “victim mentality”. Victims are those that let their emotions run them rather than they run their emotions! “Victims” are always complaining but are never willing to take the risk or do what is needed in order to succeed. They are always blaming their misfortunes on someone else or something else, they are controlled like puppets on a string by life circumstances. If the sun is shining they might smile, if it’s raining they will frown. If it’s convenient they’ll do what’s right, if it’s not comfortable they’ll accommodate. A victim will do anything and I mean anything to feel comfortable, even if it is lying, manipulating or conniving.

A true “victim” like person hates discomfort and is willing to stay mediocre forever just to feel comfortable and not have to change. It hates the pain and discomfort of change. How can you discover that you have a “victim” inside that needs to die? When change comes your way and it demands from you to yield and flow with it,  a “victim” will go into fear mode and even panic and it will invent 1001 excuses of why he/she is running away from change!

Victims don’t like to be confronted, they like to hide and when confronted they get easily wounded and feel it is “unfair”. You can always recognize the victim in the face and the attitude of someone, they always make you feel like they are going through more hardship than anyone else and that their load is heavier. Victims for the most part are quite unstable emotionally; they are up and down depending on the circumstances! “Christian or religious victims” will always blame the devil, the pastor and even Elohim Himself. They will moan and complain, murmur, pout, backbite and slander and are always seeking counseling; however when counseling comes they don’t apply it. Victims are co-dependent and will literally “suck the blood” out of those around them, they are exhausting and will cause negative energy wherever they go, or they will go from highly positive to highly negative in a moment! Are you recognizing some traits? Chances are that you have a victim inside of you that must be killed!

When it comes to walk in the Covenant of Wealth, the “victim” will be exposed to the core! Most people in the world; believers or unbelievers are extremely unhappy financially! This is one place where we all have something in common. Life in the 21st century is extremely demanding, bills pile up from nowhere, when you thought that you had the budget figured out all kinds of extra expenses show up all of a sudden; the car needs to be fixed, the child needs the doctor or some extra money for a school project, your ministry has more demands, etc… We cannot pretend another reality! Some people like to go to live in the Ashrams of India, like beggars, having nothing and meditate all day long with no worries, they like to escape from reality and go into “Nirvana”, a place of “non existence”. Except we serve a God that is very present, in fact His very name YAHVEH is the Ever Present One, the One that is PRESENT in the PRESENT TENSE! He is calling us to be just like Him and be PRESENT now, in our world, to our society, to be absolutely connected with REALITY and to apply His Word and Principles to human reality!

There is nothing that this society needs more than a Present God in the financial arena. The business world needs to see Elohim! Believe me, the business people are those that dare to dream and to do beyond their capabilities in order to get out of the rat race! Business people are great people, they hate the status quo and stagnation; they need to be moving, doing and advancing! Those business people will not come to church! Why would they? For the most part churches are totally disconnected from the “real world” and most business people have a real battle to fight. The business world is a tremendous battle field! People that make it in the business arena have to put their ego aside and keep advancing in spite of set- backs, discouragements, seeming failures and lots of offences! “Victim” like people will not really make it in the business world and that is the reason why not many believers are walking in the Covenant of Wealth! The covenant of Wealth calls us to be financial investors and to create PASSIVE INCOME and be financially FREE!

"It's also like a man going off on an extended trip. He called his servants together and delegated responsibilities. To one he gave five thousand dollars, to another two thousand, to a third one thousand, depending on their abilities. Then he left. Right off, the first servant went to work and doubled his master's investment. The second did the same. But the man with the single thousand dug a hole and carefully buried his master's money.” Matthew 25:14-18, The Message

See, this parable of the talents that we all know is about MONEY. It is about investing your money right so you can have Passive Income.  Most people have interpreted it to be about personal talents and they have spiritualized it really! This is about talents of gold or silver, which was the currency with which they traded in Biblical times. The Master gave everyone a portion and the first two did the right thing, they invested it and made more money on top of it that was a faithful act! But the one that got only one talent had a victim mentality so he refused to invest. He felt sorry for himself!

After a long absence, the master of those three servants came back and settled up with them. The one given five thousand dollars showed him how he had doubled his investment. His master commended him: 'Good work! You did your job well. From now on be my partner.' 19-21

"The servant with the two thousand showed how he also had doubled his master's investment. His master commended him: 'Good work! You did your job well. From now on be my partner.”  22-23

"The servant given one thousand said, 'Master, I know you have high standards and hate careless ways that you demand the best and make no allowances for error. I was afraid I might disappoint you, so I found a good hiding place and secured your money. Here it is, safe and sound down to the last cent.'  24-25

The fear of failing the Master kept this man from investing the money. So many people refuse to enter into the business arena for fear of failure, or because they may not handle the money right, when the only thing Yah requires is faith and trust! It would have been better for this “one talent victim” to attempt to invest it, to risk it and to lose it than to bury it! I believe that the Master would have appreciated him taking the risk and may have given him another opportunity! But he ‘played it safe’ and lost everything. When it comes to life, business and ministry we cannot play it safe, we must risk. The one that does not risk, he has nothing to lose but he also has nothing to win and he will be called unfaithful. This good religious guy that supposedly feared the Master was nothing but a selfish, coward and a victim. He thought that “preservation” and the “safe way” was the right way but rather the “preservation victim mode” caused him to lose everything!

"The master was furious. 'That's a terrible way to live! It's criminal to live cautiously like that! If you knew I was after the best, why did you do less than the least? The least you could have done would have been to invest the sum with the bankers, where at least I would have gotten a little interest.” 26-27

"'Take the thousand and give it to the one who risked the most. And get rid of this "play-it-safe" who won't go out on a limb. Throw him out into utter darkness.”  28-30

“Play it safe” people are always victims and they are really good for nothing! If you have a play it safe mentality, get rid of it! Kill the victim before the victim kills you!

People that are victims and “play it safe” can never walk in the Covenant of Wealth, they will really amount to nothing. Our churches are filled with “play it safe people” that seem to be very spiritual, but they are actually religious and unprofitable! Those will be the ones that will put on a very pious face when they hear any conversation about money. They will call it “unholy” and will put you under condemnation when they hear that you are into network marketing or investments. They will even “throw the Word at you”: “You should be meditating on His Word day and night and not on money”. SHhhhh we are in God’s sanctuary let us not talk about finances, let us worship Him, “HaleluYah………”

Yes, I am meditating on His Word day and night because it is He that gives me Power to make wealth that He may establish His Covenant!(Deuteronomy 8:18). I am meditating and fellowshipping with His Spirit on how to function in the Power to make wealth so that His Covenant can be established and demonstrated on the earth! Are you a super spiritual victim, a religious “play it safe” or a murmurer and complainer? It is time to change; CHANGE is in the air for all of us, who would LISTEN! Are you fearful of change? So am I! I have never been this way before! But His Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.

God told Abram: "Leave your country, your family, and your father's home for a land that I will show you.  I'll make you a great nation and bless you.  I'll make you famous; you'll be a blessing.   I'll bless those who bless you; those who curse you I'll curse.   All the families of the Earth will be blessed through you." Genesis 12:1-3

Yah promised some things to Abram and it is time to walk in them! In order to go there we must leave the “land of familiar” and go into a new place that we have not known! The business arena for most ministers is very unfamiliar territory, in fact for most believers it is! That’s the reason why so many are struggling in the Body, instead of being the head they are the tail and they are running the rat race! It is time to come to the freedom of the Covenant of Wealth promised to Abram. Abram was a potentate, a prince, a shrewd business man and investor. He had thousands of sheep, goats, camels, gold and many, many servants. The man was HEAVY with wealth! But before he could become that way, he had to leave “the land of familiar” and go into new territory! He had to put aside his ego, fears, love of comfort and begin an adventure that would take him to a land flowing with milk and honey! The “play it safe” mode could not take him there! Only faith, trust and obedience!

As we move into the Covenant of Wealth we must embrace faith, trust and obedience and be willing to go into a “land of finances” that we have not known! There are giants and all kinds of “ites” in this land of Covenant Wealth but it has been given to us to possess! Covenant Wealth is to be found in network marketing, real estate investments and other enterprises that Yah is bringing our way. Just open your eyes and see the wealth of the sinner is being released to those righteous ones that are willing to kill “the complaining victim” inside of them and take the risk to get it!

“A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children, and the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous.”  Proverbs 13:22

The true Hebrew rendering to this is:

“A good person leaves financial estates to his grandchildren and the wealth of the sinner is hidden under a secret code for the righteous”

In order to enter into the Covenant of Wealth it is necessary to find the code that is hiding the wealth! The secrets of the millionaires need to be uncovered! We are designed to “crack the code” but only those of us that are not too worried about the opinions of men and who have chosen to “kill the victim” and lead a really crucified life for His glory. Those that “play it safe” will never get it!

My prayer is that you will! And will become a great giver into Kingdom projects! It is time for all of the God given projects to come to pass! This is the season of fulfillment!

“Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.”  3 John 2
